Research Scientist – Natural Language Processing (NLP)


As a Research Scientist in NLP at ReasonAI, you’ll join a groundbreaking team as we recruit 50 researchers across India to redefine AI’s capabilities. You’ll develop state-of-the-art algorithms for language understanding and generation while performing critical literature reviews, publishing technical articles, and conducting data-driven analyses. Your expertise will help drive ReasonAI’s mission to push the boundaries of NLP research on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced NLP models and algorithms.
  • Conduct reviews of emerging research and propose ways to apply leading techniques in ReasonAI’s projects.
  • Write and publish technical articles that share insights and showcase ReasonAI’s NLP advancements.
  • Perform critical analyses of research methodologies and propose improvements for existing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed NLP technologies into ReasonAI’s broader AI initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior researchers to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Trial Period:
The initial months are unpaid and structured as a trial period. During this phase, you will complete test-based tasks that assess your ability to conduct research reviews, write technical articles, and develop innovative solutions to advance NLP research at ReasonAI.

Computer Vision Engineer—Autonomous Navigation

About the Role:
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll be part of ReasonAI’s mission to recruit 50 researchers across India, where you’ll work on pioneering projects in autonomous vehicle navigation through unstructured environments. This role goes beyond algorithm development, requiring you to engage in critical reviews, publish technical articles, and provide advanced solutions to push the boundaries of computer vision for autonomous navigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize computer vision models focused on enabling autonomous navigation in unstructured environments.
  • Conduct in-depth literature reviews on the latest advancements in computer vision for autonomous systems.
  • Publish technical articles showcasing innovations and practical insights to establish ReasonAI’s thought leadership.
  • Analyze research trends, proposing cutting-edge solutions to improve the performance and adaptability of autonomous navigation systems.
  • Collaborate with NLP and algorithm teams to integrate computer vision capabilities into ReasonAI’s research projects.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning.

We are actively seeking a Lead Platform Engineer who will guide this exceptional team in building a state-of-the-art platform that empowers AI researchers globally.

Position Overview

As the Lead Platform Engineer, you will take the helm in developing the AI Research Collaboration Platform from the ground up. You’ll design, build, and oversee an intuitive, scalable platform that supports project management, discussion forums, resource sharing, and cloud-based computation. Working alongside a team of 100 experts from various countries, you’ll ensure the platform meets the needs of researchers around the world, enabling seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Architecture: Lead the technical design and architecture of the platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and optimized for high-performance collaboration.
  • Collaborative Project Tools: Build robust tools for project workspaces, task tracking, version control integration, and real-time collaboration across a global team.
  • Community Forums and Knowledge Exchange: Implement discussion forums and Q&A boards that foster knowledge exchange among AI researchers.
  • Resource Repository: Develop a centralized library for datasets, pre-trained models, and code repositories, accessible to researchers worldwide.
  • Cloud Integration for Computation: Collaborate with cloud providers to offer computing resources, enabling large-scale model training and experimentation.
  • User Management and Security: Design a secure authentication system with role-based access control to ensure data protection and user privacy.
  • Optimization and Testing: Conduct extensive testing and continuously optimize the platform based on feedback from an international user base.
  • Documentation and Support: Document development processes and assist in creating user-friendly guides to help researchers maximize the platform’s features.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with and mentor team members across countries, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within a diverse, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on platform development and cloud integration.
    • Proven track record in leading and launching scalable, user-centric web applications.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js) and back-end development (Node.js with Express, Django).
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Strong knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API development.
    • Expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SSL) and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a multicultural, multilingual team.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
